Northern Character: green screen International Festival of Environmental and Social Films has been held since 2018. In 2022 it will be held for the 5th time under the traditional motto: "Nature is a source of inspiration." The desire of the organizers to draw the attention of filmmakers, residents of the northern and other territories to the need to maintain the delicate balance in the surrounding world and the nature of man himself remains unchanged. The films-in-competition and out-of-competition will be available from May 23 to May 29, 2022 online and offline. In Murmansk region, screenings and meetings with authors will take place in Pechenga district and Murmansk.
The festival is organized by Northern Character Production Center with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, the Government of Murmansk region.
