About Northern Character International Film& TV Festival
Northern Character Film&TV Festival has been held in Murmansk since 2008.
It was born thanks to several friends, television journalists from four countries, that realized their dream to create a ground for meetings and discussions, they were eager to retrace in which direction contemporary European audiovisual art is developing.
By and by it was the cultural aspect that became the main locomotive of the organizers’ and participants’ interest and the festival turned out to be a meeting place not only for journalists, but also for filmmakers, as well as for viewers, people living in Murmansk and city guests.
The uniqueness of the festival is revealed in the fact that TV reporters learn how to use new techniques, filmmakers catch new stories, and viewers can directly ask questions about films and programs.
